Class, date with Emily, Soularium, coaching, dinner with Mayf, Evan, Danielle, and Sarai, and hw plus artwork.

I used little circular containers I found at the store and metallic acrylic paints.  I photographed them separately because it's not dry yet!

Day 49

Sunday = Funday :)


Slept in, read, did some homework, worked out, showered, and went to work.  A kid had gotten sick in the pool so the first practice was cancelled so I chilled with the kiddos and learned ALL about the nintendo DS from Reagan before the next practice.  During the test set, Molly and Will were asking about my blog and said they were "definitely going to check it out"...they are awesome and make me smile :)   Then I went to NewLife and then over to JTT's and David's for an Oscar party!  It was the first time I'd ever seen it the whole way through and I really enjoyed it!  PLUS it's my birthday week!!!


High:  Lots of things!


Low:  It rained a little...

Day 48

I slept in super late and then did homework and read until I finally put real clothes on at 7:30 to head to a surprise party!  My friends Emily and Rob were getting engaged and Rob planned for a bunch of people to come over to her house!  I love them :)  Then I came home and watched The Office and did art!


High:  Sleeping in and doing nothing!


Low:  Hmm....lack of chocolate in the house :/


I used stickers, notes, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, and ribbony stuff...

Day 47

Today was a pretty awesome day :)


Interview this morning that I ROCKED (even got a call back within 15 min!), lunch with Jen at HangOver Easy (chocolate chip Belgian waffle!), hangout with Erica, and grocery shopping at Giant Eagle MarketDistrict with Erica and JTT.  Then JTT and I made spaghetti carbonara and a delicious zucchini salad for dinner and Emily and Rob came over - plus we played Monopoly Deal and had Jeni's ice cream and red velvet cakesters! A pretty awesome food day!


High:  All the wonderful people in my life :)


Low:  Wearing heels...to the interview


I used ModgePodge, buttons, glitter, and the tissue paper and ribbon off a package from Gram and Poops :) (THANK YOU!)

Plus I was introduced to Words with Friends and I played the word DOTS :)

Day 46

Overslept but thanks to Colbi, I woke up just in time for my glass class!  I finished mirroring my slumped glass and made a plaster cast and part of my Barbie rubber mold.  After watching Jenna, I went over to Lindsay's and got to hang out with her and have dinner :)  I love her!  Home for a bit and then "The King's Speech" with JTT...very good!

Day 45

I had a sweet breakfast date with Daphne and then class (which I could not keep my eyes open in!), a quickie nap, and watching Jenna.  Then Tara and I went to dinner at a thai place we'd heard about and came home and watched part of Heathers.  I worked on resumes :/ and homework...


I used cardstock (thanks Leah!), tempera paint, and a straw...


The first one is just dripped paint and the last two are blown paint.

Day 44

Leah and I had a pretty awesome morning of Jesus time and hanging out - I loved it!  Then class where I made an awesome mirror :)  Watching Jenna, looking for a Toys R Us (that is closed!), and small group and then Glee with Mags and JTT :)

Today I made what I think is a really cool piece (maybe it's not) and I used tempera paint, old photo scraps, glitter, ribbon, and paper - I love it!

Day 43

I overslept (due to a Nyquil induced coma) so I missed my classes for today.  I needed the sleep though!  Emily and I had an awesome date and then I had a group meeting and made a rubber mold and chatted with JTT.  Then a little bit of homework and hopefully I can go to bed early!


High:  Not having to pay for parking after my group meeting

Day 42

I have a cold :(


I slept in super late and did homework and worked on applying for jobs before going over to Kristen's place for pizza, Frankencake, and hanging out :)  She's super awesome.  Then newLife (I did kid's church...LOTS of kids today) and Cane's with some friends.  After I got home I did more job applying.


Leah gave me this frame mat to decorate for her (it was plain white before) and I decided to use my favorite color (blue) and one of the colors she wears the most (and I'm pretty sure her favorite ) - dark green.


I think it turned out pretty cool - I used acrylic paint and spray paint...

Day 41

After staying up until 4:30 chatting with Allisha, I slept in super late and hung out a bit more with her before doing homework and catching up on life.  Then JT and I went to an amazing sushi place (one of my new favorite cuisines - although Mexican will always reign supreme!), had some great conversation, went to Target, and watched Freakanomics.  A pretty chill day...although I am exhausted!


I had the great idea of using our sushi as my dots for the day....but I forgot until there was only one piece left!  But it still tells a story about how amazing it was!

And a shout-out to my dad-o and his awesome letters!  They included dots 2 ways this week!

Day 40

Friday!!!  Great meeting with Kathryn :), then amazing tea spritzers (?) with Mags on the way to the airport, date with Erica, homework, nap, coaching, workout, pizza and chocolate chip cookies with Lizzie and T-ra, and then Allisha came over for a Mean Girls 2 sleepover!  She is so awesome :)


I used my sweet new fine point Sharpies for today's piece in my visual journal.  I think it turned out sweet!

Day 39

Today I hung out with Emily, went to class, babysat Jenna, Target, coached, and hung out with JT then Leah and Tara.

I got to sleep in today, then I worked out and made a quick Hobby Lobby run before class.  In my art class I unmolded my slumped glass and it looks so cool!  I took a picture to post but somehow it deleted itself from my phone :(  


Then I worked, napped, small group-ed, and went to JT's to watch Glee and Mumford :)

Day 36

Happy Valentine's Day!


After having some hallway catch-up with Leah last night, I overslept this morning (which isn't a totally bad thing) and then only went to my second class.  It was actually pretty interesting as we talked about a huge French conglomerate.  Then date with Emily at Momo2 (Honey bubble tea and a strawberry Nutella crepe!), coffee (aka iced passion tea lemonade) with Gennie, Target run, coaching, and then dinner time!  JT, Caleb, and I were going to go to an authentic Mexican restaurant but it was closed so we went to Chick-fil-a which is also amazing!  I had two Valentine's dates ;) Then back to JT's for some lavender wildberry Jeni's ice cream and catching up.

Low:  Coaching...where a girl asked if I was pregnant because of the shirt I was wearing!  I told her 21 year olds couldn't have babies...

Day 35

Woke up, breakfast with the fam (and Valentine's bags from mommers!), Gail's "sermon", long drive home with a pit stop at Panera for a plethora of chocolate chip amazingness, hang out with Lindsay and seeing Hannah (who is so big!), NewLife, JT pep talk, Micah coffee, unload my car into a messy room!


I doodled while on the phone today....Sharpie Pen and paper :)

Day 34

Skiing at Bittersweet with the fam (Mom and dad-o, Aunt Gai(l), Victor and Lee, Jake and Keegan).....I went down my first blue!!!  


Today is the 2nd guest artist!  My aunt Gai(l) - she went to art school so she's a pro :)


And there was an ongoing Raisinets joke today...

Day 33

I got to sleep in today :)

Then lunch with Abby Jones (who is super awesome) at Bruegger's, some homework at Crimson Cup, date with Allisha at Crimson Cup (who is super awesome also!), and then a lonely drive up to Michigan (thanks for the phone call JT) to meet up with the fam plus Aunt Gai(l) and then a ridiculous game of Monopoly deal (8th grade boys are ridic).

Day 32

I get to sleep in tomorrow!!!


I accidentally slept in today :(  But I made it to class on time!  


Babysitting Jenna was hard today, but practice was good, I had some delicious peanut butter and cranberry oatmeal plus a vanilla cappuccino at Crimson Cup, I got in a good workout, went to Easton and Target with Lizzie, had the BEST quesadilla I've ever ordered from Taco Hut, and I watched "In Her Shoes" with T-ra and Lizzie while I did my artwork :)


High:  The quesadilla or the oatmeal or the vanilla cappuccino...I like food


Low:  Jenna calling me a "butt-face"

Day 31

I feel asleep today while I was babysitting Jenna (for the second day in a row) and I woke up to her laughing at my spelling of disproper (I included a "c") and the fact that I told her it was a word....I think it means I need more sleep!


Class, babysitting, date with Maggie, coaching, group project, Target, and home finally!


High:  Maggie is awesome


Low:  Being completely exhausted and falling asleep all day long...


I used a mini canvas that I covered in paper and Modge Podge and then drew on with my awesome metallic markers...

P.S. The markers are coming in quite handy (even though someone was trying to talk me out of buying them!)...

Day 30

Today I was a slacker...at least in the blogging department.  I had a traumatic car experience (I love the JL but bad things happen to me in it) involving a really really ticked off guy who scared me so I'm just now going to get started on homework and studying :/ I did however have some delicious red velvet cake made by Betsy and an amazing dinner at JT's prepared by the amazingly talented Allison and Maggie!


High:  Not one, but TWO episodes of Glee tonight!!!


Low:  Wearing a vest instead of a coat today...I thought it would be warmer than it was...


I cut myself yesterday with glass (I should've worn gloves like my teacher said) so I decided to decorate my bandaid...with my amazing metallic markers...

Day 29

I feel like I start out my day thinking that it won't be that busy (even though I'm an overplanner) and by the end of the day I'm completely exhausted. Today was class, date with Emily at Bob's, counseling, making a plaster silica mold for slumping glass, coaching, making puppy chow, and studying for a quiz that I thought was Thursday :/


Goal:  Work on being less busy!

Day 28

Today I went to Grace Central Church in the Short North and it was awesome!  I ate lunch at Giant Eagle Market District (an amazing banana, strawberry, and Nutella crepe!), coached, did some homework, went to a friend's to watch the superbowl, watched some Cooking Channel, did some more homework, and after I post this I'm going to do more homework :(


But since I was doing my homework I decided to make it artsy....so here is today's dots :)

Day 27

Yeah...this is super late!  But I had a busy day - again :)  I coached this morning in Gahanna, took an amazing nap, went shopping with Leah for suits and professional clothes, ate dinner at Panera with Lou and Erica, and then played Monopoly Deal and Risk with them!  It was so fun!  I love game nights!

Day 26

Busy busy day :)


After a sleepover with Elizabeth involving Mary Poppins (which I'd never seen before...and didn't make it all the way through before I fell asleep), I woke up late and swam with Tara and Jesse, ate lunch (a delicious asiago parmesan bagel with egg whites and white cheddar cheese!), went on a walk with Erica, did some homework, took a quickie nap, coached, drove to Delaware for the Advance, talked and hung out, drove back and talked to Micah on the phone, stalled on Facebook, and finally made my piece of artwork for today!  Haha...it's a little late :)

Day 25

I decided to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator.....I've owned the program for awhile but I've never spent the time to try to learn it.  I looked up tutorials...and realized I needed a BASIC tutorial and found one that worked.  I really love the things you can do with it...and I thought this looked pretty cool :)

Day 24

I got to talk to my cousin Calen today!  And book a flight to Florida with my mommers!  And finished my brains!


I used one of my new favorite websites for today's project:  Tagxedo.  It's similar to Wordle (which you should also check out) and it lets you make word "clouds" and customize the shape, font, colors, and more...

Day 23

Icy weather today = pretty amusing watching people walk (although I know I looked even more ridiculous..it was entertaining nonetheless)...

I've been meaning to decorate this Bible for awhile now and today I was at Target (for the 3rd time in one day!) and found these really cool pens that David and Betsy (my small group leaders) had at their house last week (which I decorated my other Bible with...haha)...

I couldn't resist buying the pens, so now I have a really sweet looking Bible!  

Day 22

I really hope that we have a snow day tomorrow!  Because I want to play Monopoly Deal with my roommates :)
