First day of coaching Muirfins - and I love it!  I think I should be a swim coach for life :)

Lakehouse :)


Dad-o's delicious chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast!!


Then reading, a leisurely boat ride, napping, lunch, running with Dad-o, Gram and Poops showed up, and Skip-bo :)

Lakehouse weekend :)


Slept in, grocery with mommers, lunch with the fam, nap, Mexican for dinner, Skip-bo, and Avatar :)  Too bad it was raining today :/


For my project, I used string, ribbon, an old letter, and markers....

Workout - Kathryn - haircut (with feathers!) - date at Tim Horton's with Emily (plus they had a s'mores donut!) - drive up to the lakehouse - family bonding time...


So this is going to be a necklace, but because I waited until the last minute to paint it, it wasn't dry enough to string, but the dots are the beads that will surround the silver heart and it will be on blue and purple thread!

Day 136

Lizzie, T-ra, and I had an early breakfast of Chick-fil-a :)


Then I napped, watched Jen, coached, and got to spend the evening playing Skip-bo and having dinner with friends at Maggie's house!


And then I finally finished the Hunger Games!!!  It was so good!


For my project today, I used the paper I painted a few days ago and even though it doesn't seem major, I put a quote on it that I love....I want to frame this piece so I wanted to finish it and make it a little more personal :)

Day 135

Class - only 3 more things left to do before graduation!!!


Got my car back - this place is awesome!

Day 134

Woke up early(ish) = trying to start a good habit :)


Swam with Jesse = good workout - some distance free!


Class and homework...then Jenna = Hunger Games reading (I'm almost done!!!)


My car window broke so I had to take it to the body shop by JTT was nice enough to pick me up!  And we got to visit Maggie and her fam because they just had a new addition to the fam (Greta - such a cool name!!!)...


Then Bible study aka a game of Killer Bunnies (or something like that) that was super fun with just the six of us :)


Then group project, more homework, and bed!


Since it was a super busy day, I drew on JTT's dry erase board for my dot project...

Day 133

Great things about Mondays?


1)  I get to either have hammock nap/reading time or just plain old relaxation time in the afternoon!


2)  Erica and I meet at Panera and chat/walk/have a grand old time :)


3)  I get to coach my bearcubs!  And today we learned breaststroke!!!


4)  I have no plans after coaching (well, group meeting today but usually!) and....


5)  I made a real dinner today!!!  In the crockpot - for the first time ever!


So my project from a few days ago (with the ornaments) is finished!  And it think it turned out really awesome!

And....I have been trying to make this work for a LONG time...and it still didn't turn out as cool as I hoped it would, but at least it's improving :)  I still need to put it on a chain though - I wanted to wait until I got a copper one...

Day 132

After hanging out with Allisha super late last night, I got to have  a pretty chill morning of sleeping in, finishing the second book in the Hunger Games series and starting the third, catching up on "The Office," and Jesus time...then a group project and then NewLife's baptism service - pretty awesome.


Then Applebee's and Dairy Queen with friends plus some Monopoly Deal (which I haven't played in so long!)....


My sushi yesterday was sort of like dots so I'm including it here - and it was delicious :)

And for my project, I made a pendant/idk out of Sculpey clay (it still needs to be baked)....it's a really pretty somewhat iridescent blue!

Day 131

Saturday!


I got to spend the morning hanging out with my friend Lindsay - she is awesome!  And we were at an art "market" and her artwork is awesome - for real!  I wish I had half her talent :)


I then took a hammock nap/hammock "Hunger Games" reading session...


And then hung out with Allisha!  We made puppy chow, went to Sushi Ting (haha....her nickname is Ting!), made some artwork (accidentally!) and chatted!  I love her a lot!


And then bed :)

Day 129

Great day - spent time with Jen (including a nap - bonus!), met one of my assistant coaches for the summer, finally swept out my car....haha, coached (taught my bearcubs butterfly - oh gosh!  haha), Cuzzin's with Allisha, bonding with Allisha in the JL, bowling with my roomies and friends (including the awesome Ryan who made a sweet video for me!), and then ice cream (aka a frozen strawberry lemonade for me) at MickeyD's afterwards with the girls!


So for my project today....I braided my hair!  It's the first time I've ever successfully braided my own hair!  And it's sort of dot-like so it's going to be my project for the day!  I was so proud of myself!

Day 128

I'm listening to "Evita" right now - I LOVE Evita...and Argentina....and Eva Peron....and CHIMICHURRI!  Which I had for dinner tonight (along with steak - yeah, talk about a real, home-cooked meal for once!) and it was amazing!  And if you don't know what chimichurri is, you are seriously missing out and need to google it ASAP!  You won't know how you lived without it....haha...but seriously it's that good :)


Also today, I spent time with Jen teasing her and showing off my new socks (that match hers....haha), coached, and went to Market District (an amazing grocery store!) as well as ran into some friends and my old neighbor!  We have really bad neighbors now (who think we are loud?  we are so quiet!) so it made me really miss them!  


And for my project today.....so it's not quite done but I don't have the supplies for part two - so this will be making a comeback soon!  I used acrylic paints and clear glass ornaments....

Day 127

Skipped my first class of the quarter today - it was cold and rainy and I didn't feel like going and Tara mentioned skipping and I was persuaded ;)


Did some homework and job applying instead of class as well as Jesus time and laundry...


Quick trip to Hobby Lobby for supplies for today's project....

Interview today!

It went really well!  Nice campus (small), new facilities, and he took me out for a good lunch :)  


Took a nap when I got home (since I only got 4 hours of sleep last night!) and then had frozen stuffed crust pizza with Maggie while we watched Glee :)  I was shocked that they sang "Friday"...they lost some points for that one!  Haha...


For my project today, I used pretty papers, permanent marker, and this new label maker thing I got!

Day 125

Today is going to be super lame because I have an interview early tomorrow so I need to get some shut-eye!!!

Friday!  Worked out, met with Kathryn, nap, coaching, and then saw "The Drowsy Chaperone" with Erica, Lou, and Lizzie and then had Red Mango and played Trivial Pursuit!


I used Sharpies again plus a frame that I spray painted to look more modern!

Blogger was having issues yesterday, so I'm sorry this is a little late!


Yesterday I didn't have any class which was really awesome!  And I got to hang out with Mags, watch Jenna, and see Gnomeo and Juliet :)

Slept in, did some homework, ate Cuzzin's and hung out with JTT (they had coconut frozen yogurt!!!! maybe a new favorite!) and then NewLife....sweet sermon...by my friend Caleb :)  Then dinner at an Irish restaurant (a Monte Cristo and mac and cheese - so good!  And an attempt to watch Glee - my comp wasn't feelin it :/  And I called my mom for mother's day - btw...my mom is AWESOME.  Like for reals amazing, she had great fashion, an amazing blog (aka wayyy better than mine - check it out!), and is a great role model :)  Pretty much the BME (Best Mom Ever!) :)

Just got back from hanging out with Allisha - she is one of my favorite people ever!  I love her so much!


I had lunch with Emily this morning, worked out (on a bike...no weight-bearing yet :/...), and coached before meeting Allisha at Mellow Mushroom (SO GOOD!) and then watching Seven Pounds, meeting her friends/co-workers, and having a great time catching up and hanging out :)


We went to Graeter's.....

And saw a lady with a RIDICULOUS sweater/blanket-y thing that had cats on it....haha...

And Jazmyne ate with us!!!

And we finally got a photo together :)

And then this is my piece for the day....a bunch of little chairs glued together on a base with a ribbon and spraypainted....aka a jewelry/ring holder :)

Day 115

Happy Cinco de Mayo :)


I had a coffee date with my friend Jessica this morning and it was wonderful :)  It was really great to get to know her better because she is really awesome!


Then I got out of class super early and because I didn't have to watch Jen, I got to have a coffee date with Mags at "the Cup" and it was also awesome!  I really love hanging out with her :)


And then I worked with my little cute swimmers and then went over to JTT's house for a Cinco de Mayo celebration that included JICAMA!!!!!  My favorite vegetable (or close...cucumbers are delish as well)...and it was super fun to hang out and be chill with some great friends!


And no class tomorrow so I get to sleep in and relax :)

Went swimming with Elizabeth this morning!  And I swam a 500 (which I haven't done in a long time!) and it wasn't that bad!

Day 113

I got to have breakfast with Lindsay this morning and it was wonderful :)  I really love hanging out with her!  And Hannah was super happy and adorable!  Then I got out of class early :) And then I got to get some homework done at a cool new coffee shop I discovered in UA before Jenna (and she let me take a nap because she wanted a nap!!!), then a group meeting, and then small group!  Pretty good day :)

So today I decorated a frame that I made this cool "Wordle" for (using the lyrics to my favorite song)...using buttons...

And then, I organized my art supplies and got not one, not two, but THREE cuts on my hands from glass - and I seriously considered being a slacker and using that as my post for the day, but went against it - lucky you ;)
