Day 64

So today I...


1) Finished finals (basically...) :)


And here is proof...

2) Ate a delicious frozen pizza...


3)  Went to Rita's with Maggie!


4)  Made a play-dough Barbie that was an epic fail...

5)  Made a blue raspberry jello Barbie...that is still a work in progress (keep your fingers crossed!)...

6)  Dressed my microcrystalline Barbie..doesn't she look nice?

7)  Ate a Tootsie Pop from this nice bag :)

8)  Attempted to clean up my original Barbie...which is covered in wax..

9)  Made a frame...with paint pens...

Day 63

Chocolate chip pancakes (delish), KSBC, Little Mexico II, drove home (with a McD's DC pit stop), Target run, Crimson Cup with Allisha, homework/finals studying :(

Day 62

Slept in, watched Jake's basketball game (he did really good - they almost won!), ate lunch (sushi salad - delicious!), nap, dinner of croque monsieur and kir and creme brulee and avocado/grapefruit salad, watched Frozen (the worst movie ever!) and Life as We Know It by the fireplace :)


First:  Crayola markers...

My sheets at my parent's house are awesome...and I thought they needed to be on here because they have dots!

Day 61

Slept in, did a lab for marketing, wrote SEVEN pages of a 10 page paper (I was impressed with myself!), drove to West Lafayette (with a McD's DC pit stop) while listening to my loves Mumford, PEANUT BUTTER PIZZA at Bruno's with the fam, watched Purdue lose :) (sorry!), opened birthday presents (thanks Mom and Dad-o!), showed them my glass projects, watched White Collar, and attempting to go to bed :)


I decided to make my peanut butter pizza my art...I was going to artfully arrange the chocolate chips but it was just too hard to take my time....but it's so beautiful anyways...haha!

Day 60

Took my first (and only real) final this morning, then a Target run for ink and play-dough, glass class (more fusing!), a glass critique, Jenna, some fantastic thumb wars, dinner with Ashton at Sloopy's (including red velvet cake!), and hanging out with T-ra in my room :)


I used play-dough (leftover from the play-dough Barbie that I'm making)...

Day 59

Do you know the book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day?"  

Well, my day was sort of like that...but worse.  And it was raining.  Now not to be a party pooper here, but let's be realistic, it was.  And then I realized that I have a final tomorrow...smart Heike didn't look at her calendar earlier this week.

My roommates cooked me a wonderful breakfast (the only good thing that happened today) then I had class, worked on my microcrystalline Barbie, Jenna, swimming, and studying.

I used acrylic paints....in the colors for how I was feeling...

And the bag is from the Timmons yesterday - dots!

Day 58

1)  I made 4, yes 4, wax Barbies today...that all broke, had holes in them, or were gunky and watery....so I finally made a microcrystalline one (and I haven't opened the mold yet, so who knows!)


2)  I got to make like 5 fused glass pieces!  My teacher said to use up the glass - and I did that!


3)  A bird pooped on me - not once, but TWICE


4)  It was warm :)


5)  I had to listen to the Justin Bieber cd...on repeat....three times...


6)  I received an encouragement video from my friend Ryan and it made my day!


7)  I had breakfast with Gennie and hung out with Maggie


8)  I went on a run this morning - outside!


9)  Border's is closing (which is sad) but everything is on sale!!!


10) Since I really wanted to write down ten things, I got an amazing birthday cake from Jenna and her fam!


I used acrylic paint, magazine pages, ribbon, and dried up acrylic paint dots...
