Day 28

Today I went to Grace Central Church in the Short North and it was awesome!  I ate lunch at Giant Eagle Market District (an amazing banana, strawberry, and Nutella crepe!), coached, did some homework, went to a friend's to watch the superbowl, watched some Cooking Channel, did some more homework, and after I post this I'm going to do more homework :(


But since I was doing my homework I decided to make it artsy....so here is today's dots :)

Day 27

Yeah...this is super late!  But I had a busy day - again :)  I coached this morning in Gahanna, took an amazing nap, went shopping with Leah for suits and professional clothes, ate dinner at Panera with Lou and Erica, and then played Monopoly Deal and Risk with them!  It was so fun!  I love game nights!


I used my new metallic markers that are awesome and an small moleskin notebook I have...

Day 26

Busy busy day :)


After a sleepover with Elizabeth involving Mary Poppins (which I'd never seen before...and didn't make it all the way through before I fell asleep), I woke up late and swam with Tara and Jesse, ate lunch (a delicious asiago parmesan bagel with egg whites and white cheddar cheese!), went on a walk with Erica, did some homework, took a quickie nap, coached, drove to Delaware for the Advance, talked and hung out, drove back and talked to Micah on the phone, stalled on Facebook, and finally made my piece of artwork for today!  Haha...it's a little late :)


It involved an index card and Crayola markers...

Day 25

I decided to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator.....I've owned the program for awhile but I've never spent the time to try to learn it.  I looked up tutorials...and realized I needed a BASIC tutorial and found one that worked.  I really love the things you can do with it...and I thought this looked pretty cool :)

Day 24

I got to talk to my cousin Calen today!  And book a flight to Florida with my mommers!  And finished my brains!


I used one of my new favorite websites for today's project:  Tagxedo.  It's similar to Wordle (which you should also check out) and it lets you make word "clouds" and customize the shape, font, colors, and more...

Day 23

Icy weather today = pretty amusing watching people walk (although I know I looked even more ridiculous..it was entertaining nonetheless)...

I've been meaning to decorate this Bible for awhile now and today I was at Target (for the 3rd time in one day!) and found these really cool pens that David and Betsy (my small group leaders) had at their house last week (which I decorated my other Bible with...haha)...

I couldn't resist buying the pens, so now I have a really sweet looking Bible!  

Day 22

Busy busy day - like usual...haha

I really hope that we have a snow day tomorrow!  Because I want to play Monopoly Deal with my roommates :)
