Day 231

Although I spent over 12 hours at work today, it felt like 5....I guess that means I'm at the right job :)  It's great and my swimmers are great and I'm so glad that they're welcoming me so awesomely!  It has made this job so much easier!


Since I'm starting to write workouts (!!!!!), I decided to make a workout journal...

Day 230

Lots of meetings with swimmers lately and it's been good to get to know them better!  I also had my first laundromat experience and it wasn't the most pleasant....I don't know how people do it!  Haha...but I survived!  


I made a cool decoration for my office... with Sharpies...

Monday was good...I like my job :)  And I got to talk to Mags and JTT and email my parents so that was also good!  And I think the team likes me - they were joking with me so that's a good sign!  AND I got to write my first real college workout today!  How cool! Well, at least I thought it was cool!

I've been super busy this past week with moving into a new place, unpacking, learning 80 bazillion names, and figuring out a new town but things should settle down soon!

I'm sorry these posts are so late!  I was moving and was without internet access for awhile!  I'm now moved into my new house and have started my job!  So far, I love it!

Today I got to spend time with Kathryn, see "The Help" (so good!), go swimming with Mags, Allison, and Jenny, go to Tip-top for some delicious food (goat cheese and turkey pretzel sandwich with sweet potato fries, and see Jersey Boys!  So fun!

I think my meal had some dots in it :)

My last day with Jen today :(  I'm really going to miss her!  She feels like my little sister!  We made funnel cakes and played the "Would you rather?" game...  I also had FND and we played Killer Bunnies and had a delicious dinner - SO GOOD!  I'm really going to miss FND!


And I got these sweet pots at Ikea - and they are quite dotty...

I got an iPhone today!!!


And I had Buckeye pancakes for breakfast with Maggie!!!


And I went to Zoombezi Bay with Jen!!!


And I had a delicious dinner with Erica at Martini!!!


And it was a great day :)

Lunch with Kels and Linds - I'm really going to miss them!  But our sushi was delicious!  Then Orange Leaf and hanging out with Emily - and afterwards Mags and I had dinner (pesto tortellini) and she helped me pack!

Again, everything is packed, so I made a thank-you note...

Ikea and Jungle Jim's today!  Super fun :)  Plus NewLife and Kinect/Hangout with Erica!

Since my life consists of packing right now, I've been watching Gilmore Girls while I pack....find the dots :)

Mags and I made breakfast for Allison this morning - for her 22nd birthday :)  And then I caught up on Gilmore Girls while packing before dinner at Marcella's (SO GOOD!!!) and then La Fogata :)


I decorated a sheet of paper...with a Sharpie...aka all my art supplies are packed :/

Good day - watching Hannah, Easton, seeing Lindsay's new house, Alladin's (so good), and then some wine and delicious desserts with friends :)


It's Allison's birthday tomorrow, so I decorated a mix CD for her...

I got to play (well I watched but wanted to play) disc golf with Jen today...plus Skip-Bo and Phase 10 (the first time I finished all ten phases!!)...it was great :)


I used my Sharpies to do another doodle - I'm trying to do a bunch of tiny things that look good together...

Fun day - Gooeyz, Bon Vie, Easton, Gilmore Girls, Skip-bo and pizza with the roomies, and then my project for the day - which involved a foam piece, Sharpies, and glitter glue...

I went to the BookLoft for the first time today!  It's so great - 30+ rooms full of books!  So cool!  Plus I got to have lunch with JTT, Mags, and her sister Jenny at Katzinger's - delicious garlic pickles and ruebens!  Then some Gilmore Girls, packing, and Starbucks!

Bridal shower this morning, then some Gilmore Girls, a delicious eggplant parmesan dinner, and FDP plus CC :)


Two-part project:  1)  Covered the cork tiles in purple fabric 2) Made some sweet tacks with glitter glue

Zoo with Lindsay and Hannah - so fun!  Then FND - again, super fun :)

I've been working on this project for awhile, but I was having trouble getting the letters to stay painted.....it's finally done and I really like it!  I used canvas, acrylic paints, hot glue, magnetic letters, and spray paint :)

Fun fun - Jenna, packing, Phantom of the Opera with Allison, and then working out with Gilmore Girls :)


Used a corkboard and glitter foam to make a corkboard with my new school colors!

Exciting news today!  I'm the new assistant swim coach at the University of Evansville!  Go Purple Aces!  I'm so excited :)  To celebrate, some of my friends and I had a cookout...super fun :)


And I received a great book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go," from my friend JTT and thought it's illustrations were dotty for today....
