Workout with Lizzie, pool time with chicas, dinner, Skip-bo and brownies, and then some Star Wars to round everything out :)\


So here is the result of my great idea from yesterday....I forgot that acrylic paint peels like a sheet..so I need to try it again...

Day 200

Fun day :)  Watched Hannah (she was so fun) and then played Killer Bunnies and had dinner and hung out with Lindsay, Jon, and JTT :)

For my dot project, I used oil pastels....and it may not look super cool now but it will be super great tomorrow (which is part 2...)

Good day - Evansville, drive, traffic jam, drive, Le Peep and shopping with Mommers, drive, traffic jam, drive, traffic jam, home, Easy A with Allison, Mommers won her tennis match, bed...


My dot project today is a photo I took of the traffic jam (one of the many)....not very exciting but taillights are dots :)

And P.S. Today my GPS told me to do a U-turn!  On the legit directions - I wasn't even turned around!  How awesome?  Granted it took me to the wrong place but it was still a U-turn!

Evansville again - plus a German restaurant for dinner :)

Went to the pool with Lizzie and T-ra and then had a fun game/s'mores night with my swimmers :)  They are great!

For my dot project today, I finished the inside of a thank-you card that I started awhile ago... with Sharpies...

Lazy Sunday - including some interview clothes shopping and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" - and did I mention that I am now the proud owner of a KitchenAid mixer?!  Cause I love it!


And for my dot project today, I used my really colorful glitter and a Sharpie...

Day 194

Breakfast with Emily (coconut and chocolate chip pancakes!), nap, art, Gilmore Girls, games with Lizzie, and then Lucky's with Lizzie and Allison - so fun :)  I love those girls!


And for my dot project, I drew without my pen (aka Sharpie) leaving the page/not looking at the page and then added some geometric elements to it...I think it looks really cool and it's really cool to see how it turns out - usually nothing like what you're trying to draw!

Jenna day including seeing "The Zookeeper" at Movie Tavern....plus a delicious dinner with Mags and then Gilmore Girls :)


I used my whole punch today...and made a pretty sweet piece - I love the colors....I wish I could make this again but 10x as big!

Fun day - especially dinner with Mags and Allison (at the Polish restaurant), SYTYCD, and then running at the park (with no socks!  and no blisters!!) :)


For my project today, I used some stencils and markers....I didn't get home until late so it's not the greatest....

Jenna day (American Girl dolls and the pet store) - including seeing "Soul Surfer"...really good movie :)

For my project today, I used glittery foam and string and felt letters....and I just realized there is a random foam "T" on my project..it's not intentional and probably just fell there so ignore it...haha!)...

Fun afternoon with Kelsey including Target, sushi, baking brownies, a softball game, and then game night with everyone :)  Had so much fun!


Jonathan decided to do my dot project for me today!  He was one of my swimmers and he is hilarious!

Bridal shower today for Emily - and we had to make these little scrapbook-y pages for her....and so mine was very dotty :)

Plus...the card we got her was sweet!  And so dot like :)  I wanna make something like this!

Harry Potter 7 Part 2 this morning - SO GOOD!


Then lunch with Allisha, diet Coke with Emily, job apps/naps, and then Girls Night Out with Erica and Elizabeth :)


We did a co-project...they wrote letters and numbers and I added the artistic part!  With sharpies...

Lots of applying for jobs - plus the Muirfins awards banquet - I'm going to miss my 15&ups :(

Jenna and I spray painted t-shirts and socks today - and I used dots :)  It was super hot and she didn't want to go to the pool, so we did something crafty!


I did stripes for the socks and curvy lines + dots for the t-shirts!

Sorry this is late - it was a long day yesterday!


Our champs meet got cancelled 2/3 of the way through - LAME!  I was so sad I didn't get to see my older kids swim all their events!


One of my little girls, Grace, made me this necklace - super cute and dotty :)

And my swimmers are great - my dot project is courtesy of them!  Haha...they decorated aka COVERED my car in post-it notes and wrote ridiculous things all over it - I hardly knew what to do when I saw it!  It was pretty hilarious...check it out...

Whoa...day 180 already!


Lakehouse - with the fam, Mags, and Brandon 'n Natalie - super fun :)  Tubing, skiing (across the wake!!), and swimming (yes, I swam in the lake!)...


We also played some great games :)


And I drew aka doodled for today's dot project - with Sharpies :)

Last Fun Friday (storming but kids still came!) and then drove up to the lakehouse with Mags!  Tubing, driving the boat real fast, and some reading before Mexican and Skip-Bo!


I found a cool paint program on my iPod touch that I used to make this...it's going to be the background to my iPod!

My last real practice with my swimmers (Friday is fun day) and it makes me really sad :(  They are such great people and I really have loved coaching them and getting to know them!  And they worked so hard for me!


Jen and I went to the pool today and I got to play "Killer Bunnies" with some friends :)


And for my dot project, I made some notecards to write notes to my swimmers on...

Day 177

Busy busy day!  But I got to spend time with Erica which was great :)


I made cookies for my swimmers and decorated them with green (TEAM SPIRIT!!!) sprinkles....aka dots :)  They are yellow cake mix cookies which are delish (use a box of cake mix plus 2 eggs and 1/3 cup oil and bake for 8 minutes) and you should definitely make them if you have never experienced their deliciousness!

I realize I'm posting this late, but I for reals did it yesterday......when my swimmers swam amazingly and broke two records :)

Happy 4th of July :)


Parade with Muirfins this morning and then fireworks with some of my older swimmers tonight - they were pretty awesome :)


For today's dot project, here is a REALLY SUPER AWESOME bowl that my dad-o and brother got me while they were in Turkey (yes, I'm quite jealous....but this is sweet!)....they went to the place where it's made!  Isn't it awesome???  I love it!  And if you happened to look up at the sky tonight, chances are you saw some firework-y dots!
