Day 110

Today I spent the morning at the advance and then drove to Cincinnati and went to the Flying Pig expo and then to Maggie's parents' house - we had a delicious dinner and some game time but I'm super tired and we have to get up really early!

I made a cool piece for today but I left it in my car, so as a substitute....my shirt!  But there will be 2 pieces for tomorrow!

 

Day 109

I for real did this yesterday!  But I was at the advance and we didn't have any internet or cell phone signal so it didn't get posted :(  But I had an awesome day including time with Kathryn, Emily, and Lindsay (plus a happy Hannah) and then the advance was sweet as well...

I made a really cool bracelet...

Day 108

Overslept this morning (which ended up being not such a bad thing) and barely made it to class on time (but at least I got to bike there!)...


Then worked out...


Made a trip to Easton for some leggings at Forever 21...

Had a crazy hard test today in my logistics class - not fun but at least it's over!


Went to Old Navy, Target, and World Market on the hunt for spring clothes - found a super cute dress :)


Jenna - hormones are raging and she's up and down and defiant like none other - typical fifth grader...

Day 106

Went on a run this morning (in the extremely humid weather) to Maggie's house and she drove me back - I love having a destination in mind...it makes it so much faster!


Class - which got out super early - then Kroger for some honey roasted peanut butter and Crimson Cup for a decorated cap where I saw JTT, Mags, and Jesse...it was where all the cool people were!


Jenna - including a walk to the pet store...and a $1000 (yes $1000) bird!

Hobby Lobby run - couldn't find any mini chairs though :(  But did find lots of other fun stuff!


Small group - John 4...breakfast for dinner....I love small group :)

Day 105

Easter Sunday!

Got to hang out with my dear friend Kyla at the JO Track this morning - so good to catch up with her :)

Then some bonding time with Ashton while I made spaghetti sauce and fruit pizza...

And then orphan Easter dinner!  Including spaghetti, fruit pizza, hummus, sun dried tomatoes/parmesan/mini toasts, and apple and avocado salad with friends JTT, Caleb, and Adib!

Then Easter service and then hangout with Allisha!  Who is awesome - and we went to Graeter's which is awesome!

And then chillness!

High:  Kyla - I wish I saw her more often - and Allisha - she's awesome and I just wish I got to hang out with her more!

Lindsay and I made these sweet "wheelies" for Easter service....and they are my project for today!

Day 104

Had a sweet run with T-ra this morning - good weather and nice to run with a friend again!


Spent the day cleaning up the apartment, prepping for Easter dinner, making funfetti cupcakes for NewLife tomorrow, and doing a bunch of random to-dos....


Watched "No Country for Old Men" with JTT....while eating sandwiches from Noodles - delish


And I'm enjoying a glass of wine while watching the Food Network tonight!

Day 103

Friday Funday!

Hung out with Emily at Starbucks this morning (free coffee plus banana chocolate chip coffee cake!), then got to hang out with Lindsay (and super happy and talkative Hannah) and make sweet decorations for Easter Sunday!  Then I got to hang out with Tara and we went to her gymnast's sweet Easter show "The Promise" and it was so cool!  I really liked it!  And then just a chill evening!

I used paint - this is definitely one of my favorite things to do but today I took a before picture and I want to use this as a background for another project so expect to see it again :)

Day 102

Went for a run this morning - great weather :)  Did the bike trail to 3rd but backward - much better that way!


Got to bike to class!  I finally had air in my tires, it was warm enough, and it wasn't raining - all in the same day!!!  It was quite glorious!


Got out of class super early so I made a Target/Joanne's run and then went to Crimson Cup to study/drink an iced tea spritzer!


Jenna - and soccer being FORTY minutes late - and getting an Easter basket from her fam!


Dinner with JTT, Maggie, Allison, Matt, and Mark....burgers, potato salad, and Asian salad...so good!


Glee then ABDC with the above plus T-ra...


Chasing Colbi around and thru the bushes after I got home - not super fun


High:  Dinner with friends...and riding my bike to class!


I used this cool dotted blue tulle stuff, sticky letters, and Sharpies...(and I thought it was quite appropriate for what tomorrow is - Good Friday fyi!)...

Day 101

Ah...Wednesday...


Interview this morning (after working out and enjoying a delicious white grapefruit), Smoothie King Strawberry Lemon Twist smoothie (the BEST ever!), class, amazing nap, Jenna (less upset - but still threw a mini tantrum), Graeter's coconut chip ice cream, smoothies (again) with Katie (so fun!), Leah's birthday party (including a successful ice cream cake made by me!!!), and now off to bed :)


High:  The ice cream cake - I was so nervous!  But it turned out so good (espresso chip, chocolate, and cookie dough with oreos and butterfingers)!  And hanging out with Katie!


Today I used glitter, ribbons, fabric scraps, foil, a ticket stub, bubble wrap, a pipe cleaner, and an old photo that I messed up...

Day 100

100 days down!  Holy cow!


Class this morning, then an awesome date with Mags (including her ice cream cake!), Jenna (who was in a crabby mood today), workout on the elliptical, small group (with delicious crock-pot tacos), and then my art for the day!


High:  Small group - it's awesome!


For my project today, I cut out of a bunch of circles from this vinyl-like material and then glued them in a cool pattern...I hope to get a cool white frame to put around them but I haven't found one yet...

Day 99

Went on a run this morning - amazing weather!  


Class - barely made it out awake

Family dinner with Maggie, Allison, JTT, and Jesse (with an ice cream cake for dessert!)


Starbucks study time (with an amazing RASPBERRY passion tea lemonade - David's amazing recommendation)


High:  That raspberry passion tea was delish!  And family dinner!


To make today's piece, I used yarn dipped in a glue/water mixture that I wrapped around a balloon (see first photo) then after it dried, I popped the balloon, resulting in these really cool balls!  It reminds me of the things you see at Pier One or in Pottery Barn that are on a coffee table in a big bowl :)

And, on a side note, I'm allergic to cats :(  Which means I'm trying to find a place for Colbi to live until September (when Jon and Leah get married and they can take her)...any takers?  She's beautiful and amazing and really well behaved!!!

Day 98

Slept in super late, Jesus time, nap, homeworkish, Joshua House with JTT, watched Easy A, roomie time...


This was the hallway at the Vineyard - it was super awesome!

I made this awesome jewelry with my mom - and it's dots-ish!

Day 97

I had a great time at home - surprising my parents at 1:30am, BSF and Baker's Peak with mommers, dinner with Shuai and Ming Liang, The Middle, walking/running with mommers and friend, coffee with Paige, sushi with dad-o, helping dad with Skype/Gmail, Von's trip and making jewelry/cookies with mom, Monical's pizza, Barnes and Noble, Cocowheats, Maggiano's, and shopping :)


Then I had sushi with JTT and friends when I got back :)


I love sushi!

And for my piece today, I used fabric, ribbons, a receipt, and a ski tag...

Day 96

Again a slacker day...


But I had this amazing cappuccino at GreyHouse (an amazing coffee shop!) and it was beautiful....

And then I rediscovered an old swimsuit that I love and that I think is still wearable!!! (Aka my piece for the day)

Day 95

I'm seriously slacking this this week...it's been full of papers and since I'm home I don't have a lot of art supplies with me and I'm busy with the fam...


But we made this delicious zucchini salad for dinner....and the zucchini was cut into dots!

Day 91

Murder Mystery Party at Erica's with Lou, Marian, Grant, Lizzie, and JTT!  It was so so so fun!  And she made some delicious lamb!  And we got to play the Kinect (which is really fun!) and it was awesome!


NewLife - Kid's Church:  We had the NewLife-OSU Kid's Church Olympics...haha....including events such as Colormania (ISpy), Long Jumparoo, Tag-o-rama, Run Fast Run, Slinky Stairs, and Duck Duck Goose - you're jealous :)


Then over to Maggie's for her 25th birthday celebration (with a delicious cake made by Allison!) and a few rounds of SkipBo!


I used scraps leftover from Friday's project along with some glue...

Day 90

I saw Next to Normal in Pittsburg today - it was really awesome!  I also had a delicious oreo blizzard with extra oreos - really awesome too!

I finally got to make the project I've been dying to make for a month at least!


But first, I met with a really cool friend of Kathryn's (it was awesome), swam, class, got out of class early so I got a nap, Jenna, Chopped Finale and Papa John's with JTT, Barnes and Noble (I love going there to read), and ABDC with the roomies :)


High:  Hmmmm...getting out of class early :)


I used a thing called a "Bulb Guard", cool wire things that I found at Hobby Lobby, and a light I already had...

Day 85

I had the most amazing breakfast this morning - a delicious white grapefruit!  Right after Tara and I worked out too :)  Even better!   I had an awesome walk to class (amazing weather) but then it started to rain and I had to ride the bus home :(  But at least it is warm!  I also got to hang out with my friend Erica at Panera and did some homework along with chatting to mommers and Skyping with Cal - who is awesome!  And I had a phone interview with a college for a coaching job!!!!!


High:  The white grapefruit - it was THAT good!


I used a puzzle that I spray painted and then Modge Podged and paint with acrylics and put random stuff on - it's not dry enough yet to separate into pieces but it will be soon!

Day 84

Sunday Funday!


I slept in ridiculously late (but so did my roomies so it was okay!) and then did some homework before making puppy chow and fruit salad for church with T-ra and my new friend Paige!  It was fun!  Then after church we went to Tai's (for amazing pad thai) and Cuzzin's (for amazing peanut butter frozen yogurt!) and then to Emily's for Hitch :)


High:  Sleeping in and making puppy chow with T-ra and my new friend Paige!
